The Cafe

In the village square, where the old primary school once stood, next to the plane tree and Saint George’s church, we opened the cafe ‘Grandma Andriana’.

We grill over charcoal, fill glasses with wine, slow-cook goat, and stir trahanas just like grandmothers used to make it. Everything is simple, homemade, and honest. Without pretense.

In the morning, there’s breakfast. Fresh eggs — if the hens are in the mood.
If not, there’s a good morning, conversation, and coffee. And these are enough, because here you learn to wait and to be happy with what you’re given.

We set the table, play cards, tease each other, and laughter fills the air.

During festivals, we all get up. We dance, sing, and sweat. The cafe turns into a celebration.

Grandma Andriana’s is not a trendy place.
It’s a village cafe.

A place to sit for hours. To eat, drink, play, and relax.

Welcome.

Have a seat. We will treat you to memories.
